Hello Washington, DC

Hello Miami

From our Washington D.C.  design workshop and Miami design workshops, Winstanley Architects and Planners think, imagine, draw, design, and so on.

It’s interesting to describe with only words a business that is as visual and visceral as architecture. Words we like include collaboration, inspiration, preparation, and conservation. And, we couldn’t do our jobs without consideration, decoration, and communication.

But, even with all those wonderful words to describe what we do and how we do it, the only way to really get a feel for us is to stop reading and start browsing our portfolio of diverse projects crossing many industries, geographies, and disciplines.

Big ideas, inventive thinking and pragmatic results.

Design projects don’t begin with Architecture or end with Planning. Interior Design isn’t an afterthought or an add-on. We find a project is best thought of as a continuum with each discipline overlapping the next, and every phase drawing understanding and influence from the previous.

Even when selected for just one aspect of a project, we bring the experience and the broader understanding that our multidisciplinary predisposition generates.

The insight this provides is of particular importance considering the broad base of our work across Education, Government, Commercial, Residential, and more.

“We are interested in clients that understand the value of design both aesthetically and economically.”

View our Leadership Team

We often talk about a business as though it has life, as if it can communicate, or design, or produce. But we know that it’s the people within the business who are responsible for all its attributes. And, the multitalented people at Winstanley Architects & Planners are a select group of long-timers and new-comers who bring passion, acumen and wisdom to play for our clients.

Multidisciplinary is what we are because multidisciplinary is what our people are. Big on talent, diverse in every way, and open to anything, our people are well worth getting to know.

“A design award is a direct reflection of the quality of our clients.”

With respect for everything we’ve written above… this is what you’re really here to see.
